A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM." He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00AM. Wake up." Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

I used to this to my brothers when we had our really big fights; it drove them nuts. The longest we carried it on was a full 5 days, then my dad got mad and made us "hug" each other say we loved each other AND then we had to write a full page on the good points each other had. Uggg. I do this to my husband every once in a while, and I tell you, he will throw things if I ignore him too long. Guess he just can't handle it, and revert to a 2 year old.

Ahhhh, the 2 year old act. I used to be married to one of those. hehehehe. My hubby (#2) can't stand it if I give him the silent treatment. At the end of a couple of hours, he's pouting and kissing up BIG time. LOL
