Working in London or in the US...

I'm an asian who wants to work. Because of some economic problems here in the Philippines, I want to work in the US, in London, or in Canada. I would like to ask some advice from all of members here about working there. Is there a good number of job vacancy available? Could you guys suggest me any way on how I could inquire or how could I reach employers from the Western countries? Is this true that there are discrimation for us Filipinos on Western countries?
