What is the best distortion pedal? I have a Behringer UM100 ultra metal...it is really cheap (23 euros) but its sound is pretty good. It's a pity it is made of plastic. I'm really curious to try the Marshall Jackhammer, a lot of people are saying this is one of the best, and it is also quite cheap (about 70 euros in Europe, 85 in Italy...).

I like the DS-1 and the SD-1 by Boss, but I have only some effects of the Zoom because I haven't a lot of money.

Well, they are two of the best Boss pedals... the best Boss pedals are the classic ones. I know there are some engineers who sell modified versions of those pedals, which are even better... DS-1 modified id used by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani... SD-1 is the pedal Zakk Wylde uses in front of his Marshall JCM800 to have more distortion.
