BMW vs Range Rover navigation system

I have the BMW navigation system dvd, and am wondering if it is compatible with the Range Rover Vogue 2006 model. It has just been bought over from the UK and it came with a dvd, but it is not setup for NZ.
If the BMW dvd is not compatible (even though the dealer said it was) what would you all recommend.
