Yes, the airline pilot who stopped an armed hijacker by braking and accelerating his jet upon landing on the Canary Islands is a pretty good story. But the hijacker was reportedly a really nice Muslim kid who had never shown any inclination to suddenly become a terrorist. Just have to watch out for "Sudden Terrorism Syndrome" when formerly gentle Islamists suddenly morph into malevolent killers.

Which is the reason why a lot of people put every Muslim in the same bag. It is the first time in history that we have a war against someone where we try to separate the good guys from the bad guys. In the last war... every german was a bad guy and every japanese was a bad guy. It was clear cut and there was no surprises. Today... Our political correctness is our worse ennemy. We have become an easy target for anyone who wants to have a go at us. The terrorists know that we are weak and stupid... and it is what's make them successful. If we had ban every Muslim from the Western World... there would have been no need to spend billions upon billions of dollars in security measures. This is the price we are paying for being nice to a few million Muslims who desire to live amongst us. Is this fair to us? Should we not ask them to pay the bill?
