Hahaha!! I just made a fool out of myself on a post. Do you ever read something, and think you know about the discussion so you respond. And then you realize that what you responded was already said in the actual discussion but you were too dumb to read it!!

All the time. In fact i often regret replying to something. an example would be your discussion regarding breaking up with someone because of their family. Although things like that bring out the side which shows how much i hate what they did to my wife. Back to this. ^ thats an example =) Although i do often wish i just didn't responed to something, most cases i do and just get on with it. Kudos! ~Joey

Sometime I do feel foolish after responding to a discussion. I always read the whole discussions but still it happens sometime that I get soemthing wrong out of some sentence or I miss some words sometime. When have done the posting and agin I can see the discussion sudenly at that time I realize that I have missed something. Sometime it happens that when I am reading the discussions at that time there are some point what I will write when I am replying to it, but when actually I am typing for the response I foreget to add some valuable point or miss some good words. Because of all these I really want an edit button.

Yes, I've skimmed through and missed the point. I usually go back and add a comment to correct my goof if I can. Unfortunately there are many ways to make a fool of oneself around here. The one that can't always be easily corrected is when you don't proofread your posting carefully enough. Boy, has that one come back to bite me. It's made me very tolerant of other peoples typos and I hope they'll cut me some slack too.

I've definitely felt foolish after adding a reply, let me tell you, lol. Uusally because I misunderstood something. Those are the times that, more than ever, I do wish that we could be allowed to have an 'edit' button here on the site, to edit our replies and our topics. I understand why Mylot is against adding the feature, so that cheaters can't change their answers before they're caught, and stuff like that.. but it sure would save a lot of us some embarrassment if we could edit, lol!
