When you are reading other people's posts and come across an interesting new site or program; do you use their link or do you remove the referral ID from it first?
Personally, I use the link so the person who shared the link with me can get credit. However, I have heard some people say they always remove the referrer's ID. Why?

Thank you for wishing me a good day. I hope it is nice in Spain today for you.
The different sites people get referred to have already planned on paying referral money; so it doesn't hurt anyone to let them do it. And when you are only being paid pennies in the first place, a few extra pennies helps.

I always use the link with the referral ID because- one thing -that person has helped me find a site. Second thing- he should get credit for that.
And third thing- joining the site through a referral is not going to harm me in any way.
So why remove the referral id........

I know, I just don't understand the people that do it. Maybe they don't understand that the money the referrer gets, doesn't come out of their own earnings. Or maybe they are just mean people.

I use the link as If they hadn't of showed me I wouldn't have known about the site or joined but I will as Thank you to them and also It would give them a positive boost and at least see their time and effort has paid off... People do take the time to aknowledge them...

It is fair. They didn't have to share their link at all, they could have kept it to themselves; but they took the time and effort to do it; so they should be rewarded.

99% of the time when I check out a link I'm not going to sign up, so it doesn't matter whether I use the referall ID or not. And if the person was spamming, I'm just nasty enough to remove their ID in case they get credit even for lookers.

I am like you I do not remove the Id. I like to help others and I would hope others are returning the favor. I think people are trying their best to show others what may work if they are looking to make extra money. I just love the people on mylot for this!!!!

I know, that is why I only post referral links for things that have actually paid me. I don't like to send people to something that sounds good but ends up being a scam. That also means I made my first pay out all by myself. So if someone uses my link after that, it is just helping pay me for my hard work the first time around, checking out the site, meeting the requirements and waiting till I actually get paid. I got my first pay from myLot this month and started promoting it after that. I now have 3 referrals.

Hi, I did check the website listed on your profile. I am not too sure about that company. They are still very new and I am waiting to see if they prove themselves before I signup with them. Have they paid you yet?

If I see a referral link in someones post that interests me I always use that link if I sign up for the program. I figure if it hadn't been there I would not have known about whatever it was so I owe it to them to use their link as a matter of courtesy.

I agree, if I post a link for someone to use, I know I appreciate when someone uses my link. So it is just a case of returning the favor when I use someone else's link.

Here's how I look at it. If I hadn't read the information that person wrote, I would (most likely) not have known about the opportunity. As a "thank you," it only seems reasonable that I would use their affiliate link.
I think people who remove affiliate IDs from links fail to realize that it makes NO difference to THEIR earnings; it's not like they are giving up some of their earnings to the person getting the referral. I suppose some people are just "offended" that someone else might get a little benefit from THEIR work... although those same people would have no problem earning a share of the money people THEY referred might make.

I agree, I might not have found out about the site without their help. Without their recommendation, I certainly wouldn't have gone to the trouble of checking it out.
Some sites if you sign up without a referrer, they SELL you to someone anyway; so you end up being "referred" by a complete stranger and the person who did help you loses out.
