What does this indicate in Body Language?

I have a friend who always likes to keep shaking or say tapping his feet. whenever we sit on a common sofa or for that matter even a seat in the bus, I feel him tapping his feet, due to which even I shake and this annoys me the most and get wild. I have on many occasions requested him to correct it, but it has fallen on deaf ears.
He remains the same and nor am i able to accept this. What do i do? What does it indicate in body langauge?

this is not the case of body language. its the pure thing called habit . and habits are easy to make but difficult to erase.besides that person has got used to it.also he is having nothing to do.best solution is to keep him busy in something that he likes most.there you need to find out what is that. i can help if you give me further details.

A lot of men have that habit. They tap or drumb their fingers. They have more energy then women, so it probably has something to do with that. It can be hard for them to sit still. Most of the men I am in contact with, are the same way.

it's really annoying. i think, this has to do with his mental restlessness, he must be a restless kind, or may be very fidgety or anxious in matters small and big or may be he just wants to pee!! LOL...
jokes aprt, he needs to meditate or engage in gripping activities.

I dont find anything wrong with him, medically speaking. He doesnt shake his ahnds, but keeps himself engrossed always in shaking his legs?
Does it indicate anxiety?
