My 13 year old knocked me off my chair by asking me this question. I asked her why she would ask such a question. Was I giving off vibes that I didn't know about. She hates the she is developing and was wondering when I got use to it. To be honest with her I told her not till I was almost grown. I don't like a lot of attention and when you over develope you tend to get that. She is the same way. She loves sports and says the boys are looking at her and making comments that she doesn't like. We went shopping and I bought her some sports bras. She also asked if it would ever stop. Now it was different for me because at some point it didn't bother me at all. But the world has changed. I was just wondering if there is any other advice out there that I could give her to make her feel better..I have never understood how some kids could be so cruel.

i sympathise with her. i started devoloping when i was in grade 5. way before anyone else. i hated it and was vey embarassed and uncomfterble. i remember standing with my shoulders pushed forward to try to hide my boobs from people looking from the side. a lot of the boys made comments towards me as well. by the time i got to grade 8 though i didn't think about it anymore. it didn't bother me. i'm not sure why i changed my mind, maybe because i wan't the only one and by then everyone was developing as well. i'm sorry but i don't have any advice for her. all i can say is hang in there.

i dont know if i can answer that perfectly but i think that sports bras will do her good... thats what my girlfriend used when she was in her teens... i think it comes natural and goes natural... the best thing what you can advice her is not to get too obsessed with all that thoughts and it happens with everyone at her age and she will get over it... thats what my girlfriends mother adviced her when she was just a bit more curios about her growth
