religion doesn't matter at all. The Bible says: "All men are sinners and come short of God's glory".
This means we all deserve punishment for sin. No matter how good you try to be you will never get 'good enough' to earn heaven.
That's why God sent His Son, Jesus Christ... to die to take the punishment we deserve , so we could get the free gift of eternal life.
God saw the pitiful delima mankind was in and so he decided that he would grant eternal life as a free gift! to all that wanted it.
That's what the Bible says!

I'm a very religious person, I always put God in everything I do. But am not saying that I won't make friends with people who don't have the same religion as mine. However, it's a different story if my partner in life has a different religion.

Obviously religion does not matter as long as friendship is considered. It does not matter whether ur friend is of which religion. Personal bonding is not dependent on religion. But when it comes to marriage, i think religion matters. There are still societies where partner from another religion is not acceptable.

I have friends who are of all different religions and friends who have no religion. To me, as long as people can respect each others' differences of opinion and not try to convert each other then they can be my friends. Anybody tries to convert me or my friends (from our various religions) and they are off the A-list. My husband shares my view of religion and I could not have it any other way.

I have a lot of friends who are religious and I'm not. I am fine with that. However I don't think I could have a relationship with someone who was religious as it isn't something I could ever believe.
