Anger begets anger, and violence begets more violence. If a man is murdered, and you kill the murderer, does the family of that man then murder in kind? Where does it end? I guess when the human race is wiped out...

I don't believe the saying 'an eye for an eye' does anyone any good at all. How about the saying 'two wrongs don't make a right?' In the bible it says to turn the other cheek, and I believe that's usually a good idea almost always.

I certainly do believe in the saying an eye for an eye. i believe that what goes around comes around and if you are dishin out a bunch of evilness, then you only deserve evil things to come back to you. I treat everyone the way that i want to be treated.

it's one way of saying you want revenge. animals that we are, that might be the 1st thing that would come to our minds, but thinking and feeling animals that we are, i believe that we could evaluate the pros and cons of our actions.
