Money...can make a person happy?

Money can buy a house not a home, medicine but not health, companions but not friends,amusement but not happiness...there are many things money can buy but I'd rather seek the things that money cannot buy :)

Money can never buy happiness it can only create illusions of happiness.And You have touched a nice point that happiness got with money cannot last long very true.Money is just one part of life .It is required for us to lead our life that's it.But it is not the all.

I see it like this... money can buy you THINGS that make you happy. But what if you get bored with the THINGS and keep having to buy more THINGS? Then when you run out of THINGS AND money, what are you going to do? Be miserable. There has to be a complete balance in all aspects of your life for money to be a positive energy in your life.

money can make us happy at the time we have got it but when its gone then so has our happiness

Money can provide us with our basic needs but its the center of a persons life. because if it is the center of a persons life then his life is about to come to doom if he lost all the money. there are other sources of happiness and its not found in money alone.

Personally, i think it can, we all need money and life would be much easier if we can afford to buy the things that we essentially need to survive everyday and if we can buy the things that we need, then theres less stress for us, less stress = easy living = happy living. Of course money cant buy happiness- but money can buy some things that can make us happy- for example money can pay for a decent child birth in a decent hospital, money can buy you a camera to take pictures of you and your newborn and everytime you'll look at the pictures, you'll be happy right? money can also pay for your childs tuition fee- can buy for your food, can pay for everything that youll ever need so you wont have to need an irresponsible husband or father of your child to be by your side just to help you with the finances. Money can help you afford taking care of your child single handedly. I do hope i have a point..

Money can not buy happiness, But it can buy Items to increase the quality of life. Money can buy a roof over our head, and rent of land beneath out feet, and food to eat... Many people take those for granted, Most of us who really want money, want money for the reason of being able to own our own home, and not have to rely or be dependant on others... and would like to help others with it. Other people are truely happy surrounded by materialism, I am not sure why, but they find happiness in it. I agree with you completely . Money will only take you so far in life but it can't buy you the happiness you are looking for . Everyone thinks that if they just win the lottery or something that this will make them happy but the truth is that they have to be happy with themselves and if they were they wouldn't mind how much money they had as they would already be happy .

Money can make a person happy, but only temporarily. Money can't buy real happiness. I've heard of people so wealthy they can have anything they want. But they are lonely. They have money but even their money can't make them really happy. It is only love and selfless generosity that can give a person real happiness.

A question that seriously boggles the mind. Money can buy a lot of things. For those people who say money can't buy love, here's a small story. 2 guys were after the same girl. 1 rich, 1 poor. They both loved the girl a lot. The poor guy works twice as hard, and of cos that meant twice as long, and manages to send the girl flowers every week. because of his long hours he could only spend the Sunday with her. The rich guy on the other hand, had flowers sent to the girl every other day, picks her up for lunch, date her for movies, keep her company anytime of the day. He was also buying her gifts that she liked very much when they went shopping. Well, guess who got the girl. Nothing against the poor chap, but things happen like that. Ask any girl who has been courted before.
