Nuclear power

With all the discussions about the climate changes and global warming, what do you think of Nuclear Power generators. Politicians in Australia are seriously considering it and say that it will take approx 15 years and we will have a nuclear reactor. How safe do you think that they are. What about 3 eyed fish and deformaties is that a possibility? I personally am a little worried and wouldnt want it anywhere near me at all.

Considering all the other options that we could be investing in for safer and cleaner power - I can't understand the reasons behind using nuclear power anymore - it just isn't safe. Don't believe your government on this issue. Just remember three mile island and chernobel!
