Silly boy.
I thought either one of them could be the one to make it to the final 4. With 4 being voted off tonite (2 gals and 2 guys) it should narrow the field of talent and they are all going to have to step up to the plate that's for sure.

Those are definitely very good choices to get to the end or near the end. My favorite three would have to be Stephanie, Sabrina and Melinda. Lakisha is good too but I like Stephanie and Sabrina better. Any one of those four could possibly win this season and will have to see how they do when they start changing up the song selections. I think Antonelle needs to go, both because of her singing and because of the pictures going around with her in it.

Yes I agree about the Pix's If your wanting to make it big in that industry it's kind of like wanting to break in to politics. You better be above reproach. Dirty Pix's is not going to win you anything in the long run. MYSPACE may think it's great but the overall World Population may find it not representative of an "IDOL's personna".

Yes indeed. They were wonderful I'm going to have a hard time choosing just one of them as they all have phenominal voices. Of course most people here in Savannah are all voting for the Savannah girl (Stephanie) who was pretty good.

Kat- I see we are on the same page on this! I agree. I just hope that Melinda can lose a little bit of that shyness/coyness? (Shoulders up around her ears kinda thing) before the competition gets too much farther along. I think that will hurt her if she doesn't.
I have a horrible conflict tonite. SURVIVOR is on and so are the Votes for Idol? which one to watch and which one to record? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Same here!!! I keep telling my hubby that we need one of those picture in picture televisions. That way, we could watch both shows at the same time. Luckily, my best friend and I made a deal. She watches Idol, while I watch Survivor, and then we call each other and fill each other in.

YOu have picked 3 of my favorites..I LOVE Melinda...I was disappointed that Antanella(sp) didn't get eliminated I thought she was and is the weakest singer...but I thought that when they picked her to be in the competition...she is cute and has a "trendy" appearance..but she can't sing...I'm afraid that her supporters will get her through in spite of her being the least talented..which always brings up the subject of "looks vs talent"...and for the boys I was hoping Singhay(sp) would be voted off..but from what they said on tv he is one of the top vote getters even though he is one of the least talented performers at this point!!! Lakisha is awesome as are Melinda and Sabrina...I'm excited for next week already!!!

Yes that looks vs. talent can certainly complicate things. Look at Paris Hilton? LOL, and I don't think she's all that hot to look at either. She is mousy and so dumb acts dumb and apparently isn't too bright anyway. But yes I agree that Melinda and Sabrina are going to have a go at it for the best of the best.
Sanjyha (or however it is spelled) sure should have gone home before Nick did. That was very disappointing.
THe plot thickens now.... the next few weeks will be very interesting.

The guys should consider themselves lucky that it's not an "open" competition at this point. For the most part, there are no standouts among the guys, while at least five or six of the girls are realistic contenders.
Melinda Doolittle was pretty brilliant this evening-- if she put out an album with that kind of jazzy sound I'd go out and buy it tomorrow.

I agree with your 3 girls and I'd add Gina. I think she's going to surprise us. As for who should go home tonight, I really hope it's Alaina and Antonella. Neither of them can carry a tune in a basket. I don't know why they're still there.
As for the boys, I like Blake and chubby Chris and the other Chris and Phil. The last two need some polishing, but I see improvement every week, and Phil was quite good this week. I think Sanjaya is going home. Not sure who else.
Looking forward to tonight's show.
Oh, and folks... TIVO! We have two, one in the living room, one in the bedroom. Thursdays are the worst bcs everything is on. I like CBS, my hubby likes NBC and then there's AI and The Daily Show. This way, we get to see everything we like. Tivo and DVR. It changes the way you watch television. Worth every penny.
