grammar checker for sentences

I am a colleg freshman student taking English online. I have a difficult time identifying run on and fused sentences. I would like to access a source to check my sentences before submitting my work. Hopefully, free.

I found this shareware program that is supposedly much better than the Word Grammar checker. I have had the same issues as you have regarding Word. I have more problems with Word saying that correct grammar is incorrect. I try not to rely on the spell checker and grammar checker since it has proven to not be accurate.
