How do you envisage heaven?

When we were young, most of us were told that if we are good we'll go to heaven. Unfortunately my parents never elaborated on what heaven would be like.
Then, at school, I was taught the same message, but once again no description was forthcoming, but the option of an eternity in the flames in hell meant any option would be heavenly.
To be in heaven was next described as being in God's presence. Well, I guess that would be OK, but with a trillion other people. I hate crowds!
As I got older I had different visions of heaven. One was a desert island with the woman of my choice, and all the pleasures one could want. Another was watching my football team win every game for eternity, but wouldn't that get boring after about fifty years?
So now I'm back to total confusion.
Can someone tell me please what I can expect, presuming I make it!
I understand purgatory, it's when my computer crashes when I am in the midle of something.

I think that heaven is going to be as good as your mind can imagine. Whatever you imagine is going to happen. God is going to place you on your small island with woman of your choice if it is.....your final answer :)

On a desert island with the woman of my choice might be heaven for me, but it could also mean the woman didn't make it to heaven, and is suffering in purgatory, if you get my drift!

wheww that was one nice description you have there mipen!!!
For me heaven is a place where one's suffering, loneliness, pain, hatred does not exist where children roam around and play innocently where food is never a problem specially the money.
A tranquil place where you happiness is endless and god is there with you and angels are playing heavenly songs and everyone is happy.
It is place a where a faithful and good person really deserve.

A beautiful peaceful heaven for me would be where I had an unlimited supply of good books, a very comfortable chair and some soothing music.

My concept of heaven is you are healthy and have no ailments. You can go from place to place without actually moving just by thinking where you want to be. Then all your relatives would be there gathering together to welcome you. Your friends would be there to. You would have the opportunity to meet the angels and especially your guardian angel. The concept of boring I don't think would be. We as humans find things boring but in heaven I don't think that would happen. I also think that there would be beautiful music there. But of course, since I have never been there I guess when I leave this world I will find out.
