Tart Warmers....Do you use them?

Do you use tart warmers? If so, do you prefer the electric ones or the kind you use with a tealight? I prefer the tealight ones because once the tealight burns out, you're done. No worry about remembering to blow the candle out. I do have 2 of the electric ones but I don't use those as often.

I generally use the tealight kind, mostly because I've got a few of them as gifts. The electric ones are good if you have kids or pets though, no open flame to invite potentially dangerous situations... And like you, I might get forgetful and not remember to turn off an electric one, but once the tealight burns out I don't have to worry about it.

There's a craft store in my area called AC Moore. They sell a bag of 50 tealights for just a couple of dollars. They are unscented which is perfect cause it doesn't take away from the scent of the tart you are burning.

Yep, that's what I use. I can get bags of 100 plain unscented tealights at Canadian Tire for a few bucks.

I have the kind that uses a light bulb. The only problem is that I can't find a replacement light bulb for it. I am so sad as it was a gift that I now can't use. Also, the tarts are so stinking expensive! Is it a fire hazard to have the electric one lit for a long time?

It depends on the kind of warmer you have but the ones that I have take a 25 watt bulb and are fairly easy to get. I am a consultant for Scentsy and I can send you out a new bulb for $1 if it is a Scentsy warmer of one like it. PM me and I can help. And no it isnt dangerous to leave it running for a long time. It is like a lamp.

I love tart warmers- I use both kinds- I use the electric ones at work- They don't allow us to have candles burning- So this is perfect- plug it in and instant smell! Love it- At home I use more tea light ones than electric- Just like you said when the tea light burns out there are no worries of turning it off- I'm forgetful at times.

I use both, i really don't prefer one over the other for the tarts but for oild i prefer the electric ones no chance of them getting too hot and bursting into flames.

I've never tried oil. Does it give off a nice scent like the tarts do?

Yes, i use tart warmers/burner to burn my tarts in. I have about 5, all are the sort you use a tealight with. I think it's more environmentally friendly than using an electric tart burner.

I use both of them. I don't prefer one over the other but i think i do use my tea light one more often. I think it melts the wax faster.
