If I won it, I would most likely go bonkers. I've never learned to deal with this kind of money. Statistically, 93% of all jackpot winners end up poorer than they were before they bought the ticket. So I'd rather earn it and learn on the way how to manage money.

I will do the same. Give money to my parents, relatives, the rest goes to some people that are in need and are my friends. And the rest is for me to create some kind of business, I will not just take the money and spend them. Well, may be I will go to some country, but I will definately try to earn more from them.

This is a goal of mine to some extent. I will work for my million and not expect to win the lotto. But I would pay off debts, and help others with some of the money. But most of it would go into creating more money. Since I have experience with investing and trading in some markets, I would work to create more wealth. I would set a specific goal and after reaching it, I would do a few things for myself and still help family members and some others. I would not hoard it or protect it by hiding it in a mattress. While creating more, I would freely spend and donate. The main idea with money is to understand it's source is unlimited. If you fear losing your new found fortune, you probably will. If you freely give some away and keep the money moving, you will ultimately generate even more. I might invest in a few businesses and in the meanwhile stay completely out of debt. I wouldn't go out and spend it on useless items or blow it on gambling or partying. I do have definite plans for what I will do with my fortune. I am working everyday toward certain goals.

LOL, I know you've asked for serious, but the first thought that came to mind was the song, If I had a Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies. But seriously, If I were to actually be so fortunate, I would buy & furnish a home, set up a trust fund for my daughter and any future family she has, and contribute to several non profit organizations I'm involved with. Possibly visit a few countries I've always dreamed of visiting, mine are England, Australia & Greece. The rest would be put away for retirement. Depending on if this was tax-free or pre-tax, lol, at the current rate of inflation, I would probably still need to keep working, so unfortunately, I can't say I'd quit my job.
