The Spring Equinox is coming up, any plans? Do you celebrate it, or not? Do you do it on the day of or the nearest full moon, or other? We're going to start our garden the day before, but other than that I'm not sure. It will depend on the weather as I don't want to take littles ones out if it is cold.

I understand that. Life always seems to be busy, i try to make the time for my spirituality. But that's not always possible.

We're having a potluck here this Sunday since it's been acting like spring around here for awhile and it's when we have time to do it. The time changes this Sunday too just to make things more confusing. There will be a few families coming out so I need to come up with stuff for everyone to do. Probably we'll do a scavenger hunt of some kind, have an egg toss, and maybe make an egg tree. I've heard of that one and have always wanted to try it. We also plan to have everyone plant a pea seed for prosperity and growth for the coming year.Mostly it'll be friends and family coming out so a lot of our time will be sitting around talking.LOL

You know, I can't say that I do celebrate the spring equinox. I never have and probably never will, but it isn't really something that is celebrated by many people in the United States. Well, not anyone I know that is. The holidays I usually celebrate are Christmas, Easter, Passover, 4th of July, my birthday (lol) and Thanksgiving. Their are probably other holidays I celebrate I am just tired at the moment and don't remember everything. :-P

Heh, darlin' Easter's the watered downed version of Ostara, the celebration of the Spring Equinox *smiles* Christmas was Yule, the Winter Solstice. Halloween's Samhain.. But us ol' americans have invented some original holidays which is cool..it's always lovely to hear what folks celebrate. In any case, plenty of americans celebrate the spring solstice in some form or another. ANYWAY, lol. I celebrate all of the holidays on the Wheel of the Year ^_^ I'm not sure what I'll do for Ostara really..I had hoped to set up a little sitting spot by the creek with some big flat stones, but it's so muddy, I'm not sure I want to brave the freezing mud. I still might..not alot tends to keep me from going outside and celebrating a sabbat =) I might write anothing song to the Goddess, or maybe throw a party for my non-pagan family to celebrate the coming of new life..*shrugs* I'll see what happens, I have plenty of ideas..but until I get some time to relax and think, I won't really have a plan -- well I don't usually have an exact plan, but you know..a vague idea of what I'll be doing, how I'll wing it like I usually do, you know ^_^
