Total Lunar Eclipse

Okay all friends & other members. My digital cameras batteries died & I can't find my other batteries. I'm bumming out because I'm watching the total lunar eclipse. That's where the shadow of the earth covers the moon completely. I wanted some pics sooo bad. Anyhow what I'm asking here is does anyone have any pics yet of the eclipse? Is anyone even watching it? I live in Minn USA & have a great view right now (645 pm cst) of it in the eastern sky. Any responses would be great. If you have pics please let me & other members know where you posted them so we can see them. It would be nice if you put them on your photos page. Anyhow here's hoping I can see some pics soon.

Well sadly I do not have photos, because my camera isn't really good enough to take quality photos, but it really was an incredible sight. It happened here in Europe at about 11.00pm - just as we were going to bed and it was very strange to go out into the garden, and look up into a clear sky, but with no moon. It was actually kind of eerie, and scary if that makes sense. And I know this may sound odd, but there must have been something strange about the atmosphere, because all my cats came in at about 8.00pm last night, and refused to go out again, which is very unusual! And Frodo, the only one who dared to venture out when I went out to look, kind of stayed very close to me, and wanted to be picked up and cuddled, instead of rushing off to the woods like he usually does. Guess it felt "wrong", and unnatural to him, but he couldn't understand why.

the moon affects a lot other than just our tides etc. I've had pets in the past act strage during before or after any type of eclips. Thanks again.

How cool! I didn't even hear anything about it. Usually they say something on the news or during the weather. Weird! My kids and I often go up to Penn State's observatory for these kind of events. I wonder if we will see it here too? I'll have to look into it all. Thanks for the info!
