yes, i've worked in graveyard shifts before for several weeks.but now in the future i will never opt for working in a night shift.its really tiring and your whole day goes waste when you are sleeping when most of your friends are awake. its also medically proven that night shift in long-term increases the risk of several stress-related deseases.
All the best to you. if you can't get your shift changed then try to relax the other day as much as possible, instead of involving yourself in other activities.

I work til one every morning , not sure if this is considered grave shift but I can't stand it . I really thought it would be something I would enjoy as I liked staying up at night but now my hours are all messed up and I can't get them back on track at all .

I worked many years working graveyards. I worled frpm 11 PM
to 7 AM for about 12 years in total. I started with a job as night auditor at a hotel. It fit my life style because I had a girl in school so I slept while she was in school and her dad was home at night so we had our wages to go towards house payments instead of to a babysitter. After about 4 years of that I worked at a Group Home, again from 11PM till 7AM and I stayed there till I had to quit working. On the down side it sure wrecks you for sleeping at night once you quit working if you've been at it for years.
