How fast is your PC? Are you using Linux or Windows operating System?

It is noted that the two operating system, the windows and linux, are in good competition. Which among the two are you using? What feature you like about it compare to the other?

Recently i read a news: NASA use linux for made an elaboration lan, this is very cheaper because buy only hardware and is faster to calculations 19 times that equivalent windows lan!!!!!!

We are using the Windows Operating System because, it came along with the computer unit we got. I am not familiar about Linux, but I have heard that it is simpler and much more user-friendly. There is no way I can be oriented with Linux as everyone around here is into Windows.

We have a decent PC with apple of RAM, hard disk space a processor and graphic card. I am very pleased with the performance of my computer but he is I am not literate about the Linux operating system and so I stick to Windows operating system as it is more a user-friendly bands are you don't need to find compatible software is now and then. The biggest problem with Linux there is a need to know the operating system very intensely before going through it whereas in Windows Lane person can somehow handle it. But according to me the best operating system will be Macintosh OS X.. I had used it for some time and I became a great fan of that operating system. It is very much scientific and the machines are electrifying.

I think linux is very fast than windows, i use kubuntu 6.10. I choice it because is supported by a big world team of developers and they are making lot of good projects, i think in the next feauture linux shuold be used as windows :-)
