is it okay to drink water while doing workouts?

I am just concern about drinking water in the middle of workouts.If I am doing stationary bycycle, in the middle of that I feel very thirsty, urge to drink water..after doing 20 min or so. Can I drink water?

Of course its ok, its needed. your body needs water to work like that, so its important to drink water. Its not going to add to your weight or anything because any unused water will be peed out. Sweating makes you lose liquids so you have to replace them.

Don't wait till you're thirsty to drink, by that time you're already dehydrated. By all means, take a drink. Don't drink like a gallon, but a litre or so during your workout will hydrate your cells, muscles etc., making you feel much better.
