Is spring here??

Are you seeing any signs of spring yet?? technically its still winter till the end of march, but today it got up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I took a walk and saw some wildflowers coming up through the grass. I love the early signs of spring. What things if any have you noticed?

Ok, I'm jealous, I know I shouldn't be but I am - it got up to a wapping 28 degrees here today, the snow is now dirty and nasty looking and no sign of green life on trees, shrubs, or flower beds. I love violets and have 2 flowerbeds with violet borders.

Oh that's ok, spring will be here eventually - it is my favorite time of year, I love each day going out and seeing something new.

Spring must be near because both of my cats have gone into their 1st heat. It's not warm yet, but hopefully that will come soon. Tornadoes have already started too. I haven't seen any flowers or leaves on the trees yet.

The daffodils are well and truly up in our garden, it's great to see, I saw someone mowing their lawn for the first time! The nights are drawing out and it's getting lighter in the evenings. It is also milder and things are starting to grow again! It's wonderful and pretty soon it will be full spring! Glad to see to the back of Winter!
