Does anyone have an easier way to find what discussions we've responded to???

Is anyone else having this problem? I've responded to so many discussions that on any given topic there are mega pages to go through; there are times when I can't remember if I've responded to a discussion.
It takes a lot of time to go through these pages and takes away from my responding to other's as well as starting my own.
Any suggestions?

I keep a notebook beside my keyboard. Every discussion I respond to, I make a brief note with name of poster, a couple of words about the discussion and the response number. (eg cjsmom - easier way - 6) It only takes a couple of seconds.
I use the "discussions I've responded to" and can go straight to the page and response number of each discussion. (You do realise, I suppose, that there are ten responses to each page, so response 32 will be on page 4)

I have all my friends notifiers turned on then I respond to each new one as I get it that way I know I have responded to friends discussion then only when I have time after that I look for new ones to answer...such as yours. I always keep my friends at a number that I can handle and if I find their topics not to my interests I delete them and get new ones to replace them with.

I always rate all of my discussions so when I see that I have rated it, then I will know I have responded to it already. I also get all of my friends discussions sent directly to my email inbox and I answer all discussions that way. It is alot easier to find good discussions to reply to also by having them sent to my email inbox. I don't have to waist alot of time searching for discussions at the mylot website. I do go there and answer some new member discussions and discussions that have gotten no replies also. Just by rating the discussion lets you know you already responded and it is alot easier for you. I hope this helps to answer your question about it.

Thank you, steph...I finally realized this with everyone telling me the same thing; I also have my email notifications on but have had trouble, here and there receiving them. Today and yesterday, though, there seems to be no problem getting them through.
Now, it's just going to take time to get through all of them...lol

The only way that I remember is that I always rate the discussion this tells me that I came to this discussion before and whether I actually responded to it or not, I left after rating the discussions and some of the responses. Sometimes I don't respond if everyone has answered the question or that I have nothing new to contribute to the discussion, but by rating it helps to not have to read through everything again and to not have to sift through many pages to check to see if I actually responded to it or not. Just what I do, it seems to help quite a bit. :)

Well, I have notification set up so I get notified when any of my friends start a new discussion so I go from the emails - as I respond to a discussion I delete the email so don't go back to it again unless to check for comments and I do that from "discussions I've responded to". If I still want to respond to more discussions I go to either discussions with no responses (once I respond they aren't on the list so I don't respond again).
Note, I do rate each discussion as I respond so that is a sure way not to respond 2 times. If I see I've rated it I know I've already responded.

I am not absolutely sure it works, but another poster said that if you always rate the discussion you respond to, then when you come back to it, or if you do, you will see the word in red "Rated" and that is how they tell. They look first to see if they have rated a discussion, and if so, then they have also responded.
