Anyone know why Mimi left the show?

Why on earth would he do that? Bonnie left the show but Judi Evans is coming back in May to reprise her role of Adrienne Kiriakis. I got this from dayscafe.com, I'd post the link but I cannot do so just yet. I wondered why all of a sudden my favorite characters were disappearing. I am so sick of the Stefano thing, they have fired good actors/acresses who had decent or promising story lines to revive this old thing again. No doubt they will have Marlena and John doing more stupid things. Maybe they should fire Sheffer.

ITA....there were 11 in all that had to leave but I can't remember all of them....I know when Farah found out that she was going to be going once her contract was up,she asked to be let out early and I don't blame her....one good thing that came out of all this is that Renee Jones is taking over the role of Dru Winters on Y&R

I don't know the entire scoop on all of it. I am hoping someone will tell me where they are getting all of this knowledge from so I can subscribe and complain to whoever is letting all these cast members go. I like Judi Evans so I'm glad she is coming back. I'd much rather leave Stefano off the show and beef up new story lines. Even the John & Marlena thing is getting old, very old. Let him wake up and have them start doing something useful on the show besides these idiotic dreams that the 2 are always in.

They have let Abe's character go stale. I hope they bring Lexi back, I really like her mother on the show. I too hope they stop getting rid of people. I like most of the new ones, I am getting a bit tired of the Shawn/Belle thing though. One minute it's on then it's off, make their minds up already. I like Willow and hope they can give her a nicer and beefier role. Wouldn't it be something if she turned into a Kate like persona?

Lexie is going on to Y&R to take over the role of Dru Winters.....John and Marlena have both been put on the back burner for now due to financial problems and I agree with you about Abe....

I've heard Lexie is going over to the Young and the Restless, a 3 yr. contract. I will miss her too. But you are right about Abe, they have reduced him to almost nothing on the show. And now without Lexie, it's worse. Thanks for sharing with me.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping she was going to do that this week, but Celeste walked in the room. Sami did nothing wrong and she doesn't need to hide that from everyone. I hope they don't put her character back to doing the things she did before. I want her and Lucas to be a powerhouse couple like the others. They need some new fresh stories, not the old over done ones.

Some have said she was fired or let go, others say she wanted out. Either way, I miss her. She was a very likable character and I looked forward to watching her on Days. So I'm hoping to see more of her on other television shows :) I wish her well.
