The first discussion about Jenny Agutter!

First of all, I need to say I'm surprised that no-one else has added Jenny Agutter to their list of interests. I guess she's not as well known as I had expected. I think a little background is required first and then I'll ask my question. Jenny Agutter's film debut was back in 1964 in a film called East of Sudan, just 4 years later (1968) she appeared in The Railway Children on television. This is an interesting detail as it was the same role she played in the 1970 film version of the same story. This film is the one I first saw her in when I was a child, she had a natural acting talent that I have noticed in the other roles she has played since. In 2000, she again appeared in an adaptation of The Railway Children but this time as the mother rather than one of the children. In the 30 year gap between the production of those two films she has appeared in a number of films including: Logan's Run (one of my favourite sci-fi films), Walkabout , The Eagle Has Landed (a classic war film), The Man in the Iron Mask, The Snow Goose (for which she received an Emmy), Equus (for which she received a BAFTA) and An American Werewolf in London (cult horror). Jenny has also appeared in many TV shows including Spooks (possibly known as MI5 in the US) and a guest feature in one of my favourite shows, Red Dwarf! Ok, my question (yes, it took me a while to get there!) is: * Which of Jenny Agutter's roles is most memorable to you and what was it about the character or story that stuck in your mind? * I would have to say that it was her role in Logan's Run - partly because I love the futuristic story and partly because I first saw the film in my early teens and I totally fell in love with her at that point! :-) I had a crush that lasted for many years lol.

Well I have never heard of this person before. She has acted in many popular films also. Sorry I can't answer your question because I can't recall who she is.
