I have always been around horses... but I am trying to start my own colts for the first time. I bought a year old colt stud and began working on leading.. halter breaking .. not much else until he was two years old. For a year I have worked on his ground manners... flexing him, lunging him..etc. Now I am ready to start him under saddle. I have saddled him a few times and lunged him. After my last discussion I believe I will get him gelded before going much further. Are there any horsemen out there that can lend me some good advice and techniques on staring him under saddle? all will be appreciated. Thanxxx
