I'm predictable when it comes to starting discussions!!

I've noticed recently that my discussion follow on from the theme of the first.
Todays;
Slaughter - Death (being alone)
Yesterday;
About life - Being happy being the real you.
I'm not sure weather this is a good or bad thing, as I can think of a discussion but they seem to be about the same sort of thing. (although completely different, just the subject at heart remains similar)
Are your discussion different? e.g "your favourite cartoon" - "I learnt something I didn't know about myself" or are doing the same as me? (remain in the same interest)
Kudos,
~Joey
P.s I've just broken mine! (for now) laugh out loud. =)

I don't think your discussions are predictable. At least not to me!! Actually, I think yours are quite thought provoking, and often rather deep. They are much more interesting than some of the more fluff discussions that are all over this site. I really like seeing what types of questions you do have, and what I might have to add to them.

Ah that's good!
Thank you cassidy; I do try to keep discussion interesting full of meaning. I also try to avoid starting something which doesn't stand up to quality, as I'm not keen on spam. (yuk) =)
It's the same for you and many other of my (mylot) pals. You add a lot and I really appreciate it.

That is okay that you are predictable when it comes to discussions as there are others that do this as well, including me sometimes with my bowling and my artwork. As long as you do not ask the same exact question and ask something different about that particular topic we are okay. :-) and myLot is okay too. :-)

It's sometimes good to be predictable my friend. I'm afraid I'm pretty predictable too, I have tried to steer away from depression now, but I used to start discussions relating to depression and scenarios which have affected my life and basically asking for advice. I have have so much great advice and help which has been so invaluable. Because the discussions relate to me they are personal. I do tend to reveal too much of myself here, but on the other side of the coin, what's the point in making stuff up? I enjoy reading and responding to your discussions so keep up the good work Respect

Hey, if your postings are thematically similar in a day, that's a positive sign. You can now start to think of widening your writing and documenting more of your thoughts, and I am sure that some great philosophy would emerge eventually. I don't know the world receives philosphy these days, but I am sure that there are some like me who wopuld love to get more of it.

I"m not sure if I would say your discussions are predictable, but they are interesting.
As for my I don't start discussions often so I'm not sure of how predictable I am. WHen I do start a discussion is usually about something that is in my mind at that moment, or something I heard or saw... come to think about it they are not exactly on the same theme.

my notifications are finally coming back now so it is easier to respond to the discussions. As for my discussions, I just try to think about things that will interest people. If I start a discussion and it gets 1 or 2 responses I know nobody is really interested but if I get quite a few responses its a hot topic and I continue with it.
