bobcat - This female bob cat turned herself in when the trap was set to catch what was stealing our chickens and likely also ate a few of our kittens and cat.

Found out what has taken a few of our kittens, a cat, and several chickens! We've had several small animals end up missing, we figured maybe a fox or possum got the chickens but were puzzled by the missing cat and kittens. Our son set a live trap - what a surprise! a Bobcat! my husband thought he had seen one crossing the property a few days before, he says a much larger one. This is a female that weighed about 30 pounds.

Oh goodness..big pretty kitty stealing your animals. I hope you release her (the bobcat) a little farther out somewhere away from people and farms. Food must've been scarce for her..they usually stay away from people unless they're really hungry.

We had a bobcat in the woods behind our house at one time. They are kinda "evil" looking. I lost a cat last year but we found out it was a huge racoon that has taken up residence in my garage. I don't go out there at night.
