When involved in discussions for fun and a person gets aggressive?

How do you handle the problem?
Have you been called names and maligned?
Have you had your words projected to be different than how you wrote them, to find that the moderator was convinced enough to pull your post?
Have you ever experienced missing posts or threads?
Have you met a person that is the personification of evil a person that is a verbal bully and abusive?
Have you made mistakes in judgment? Do you stay friends with people that exhibit narcisistic and neurotic behavior?
Do you really know the signs of a person that is not well balanced?
I met a person using the identity of 'Spin no za' at the Discovery forum discussing the show the Lost Tomb of Jesus. Here is the URL for you to go visit and read the last few posts or all of the posts on this thread. Notice how the person tries to impress the other people that are posting by putting others down, Spinoza tries to exert some authority with name calling and belittling of other people, he/she invokes the power of the abuser and this can be exposed by other people that we post with here on MyLot.
Here is the URL:

Another example of this poor behavior can be found here, at this URL:

What are your thoughts of the offenders and what should be done?
Obviously I hold out hope that they will turn from their abusive ways and recognize in themselves the problem that plaques our society.
Our global community requires that we turn people back from their destructive ways.
First do we agree who is destructive or abusive?
Can you tell me who is crossing the line how and why?

When people turn to abuse and name-calling, it's a clear indication that they've run out of proper arguments and indirectly concede defeat in a discussion. Other show the same symptom in a nicer, but still annoying way, by quoting 'holy' texts and telling you to turn to some dubious supreme being they are deluded enough to believe in.
There are two types of answers showing the intellectual limits of someone in a discussion:
"You're a f*cking c*nt and I'd love to rip your limbs apart!"
or
"You're an angry person, I'll pray to Jesus that you see the light."
Different answers, same dim-witted people... ;)

The limits are the edges of the envelope and going to far leads to a great fall, some people don't look back at themselves to see what they actually look like, and so here I come and expose people that choose to be bullies.
They are attracted to me, I had to build a sphere of protection to prevent them from getting to me, so that I don't go off with the praying to Jesus stuff, I'll just expose them, and shed light on their behaviors.
Do you like the twist that I use?
I'm glad to see you made it by Thomas, I hope you're having a great weekend... ;)
Thanks for the replies...

Just shrug it and take it easy. That person may not be as much a sport as you so don't push your luck. The next time, remember not to "play" with him. :P

That's my thoughts, I don't need to play with people that don't want to play in a civilized manner.
It isn't even about being nice, you know what I mean, or I think you do, we all have something to say, we can push the edges, but there are limits, I hate to see people going over the edge... Kind of like playing on that envelope and forgetting where the person is standing watching them step over the edge.

Wise people know what to ignore! That is how I deal with it.

Nice, I sort of agree, first I'll try to get the person to straighten up, if that doesn't work, ignorance can be bliss, so they say...
It is easy to grow thick skin...
I like to give everyone a chance, what do they call that, we all have free will?
Heeehehee, I love religion.
