what makes you happy ??

I'll be happy when...." is the way many people think they are living their lives. yet, happiness is not something that happens to us. happiness is inside us. we are motivated from within and we only have to allow happiness to surface.
H = KDL
H (Happiness) = K (knowing who you are) X D (discovering our lives' work) X L (learning not to tolerate what's not important)
that's the formula for happiness--know ourselves, our true calling and that we get what you tolerate.
for me, happiness is doing what i do the best, acting my heart and mind and dreamimg about the things i want to do...

i do believe, we gotta be very nice at heart to get the bliss of near and dear ones and you are just being a very nice person urself. no wonder you are blessed with a LOVELY MAN and LOVELY KIDS and FRIENDS.

Lots of small and big things make me happy.It could be the rain or it could be someone's kindness.It could be a kid waving from the train or a gift on my birthday that I wasn't expecting.When we are truly happy,it shows,not just on our face ,but even in our words (and discussions,lol) .Yes, ultimately ,it breaks down to knowing yourself because that way ,your happiness is internatized and you don't have to search for it around you.I believe ,if God would have spelt out a perfect motive for life ,then it would be 'To be happy and make others happy'. They are so interconnected that in the absence of one ,the other loses meaning.
