A friend of ours just dropped by on his lunch hour to let us know that another friend had passed away. This man was a mutual aquantance of my hubby and our friend. They were talking about friends that used to be tight during there single years, or drinkin' buddies. Well they figured out that 4 people that used to run in their circle have died before 50 and one at 57. It realy caused them to pause for a moment. Our friend used to be a heavy drinker. He's been sober 2 years now and is very proud. There was an obituary in our paper. A 33 year old and it said he died of natural causes. At this tine with technology and all of the medical breakthroughs we just can't see how a 33 year old should/could die of natural causes. It has made me feel my mortality. Our friend and I share the same birthday, well almost. We are 1 day apart, the same year. To liven things up we picked on hubby because he has already turned 50. He got even though cuz' he has all his teeth, our friend doesn't. Has anything caused you to start feeling your mortality?

Well, that's how life works. Some of us die young while, others die younger still. It looks like 70 is a good age to die. Before that, it is too young to die and after that, will be having reached ripe age. It is not wise to worry about when are we going to die because, no one can tell when is it going to take place exactly. Let us just make the hands of time keep moving its way and let time worry about our dying point. For all you know, you are among those who are meant to live well beyond a 100!

It is quite possible for me if genetics has anything to do with it. My grandmother lived to 81, her mother to 94 and father to 90. My grandfather lived to 82, his mother 104. That is moms side; dads side didn't last as long, heart failure problems. I am taking care of my ticker. It just seems to me that now that I am older I am noticing it more, people that are dying at a younger age.
