I have greatly admired Lennon as a musician, intellect and as an activist. His 'Imagine', 'Working Class Hero', 'Jealous Guy', 'Give Peace a Chance', 'Mother', 'Gimme Some Truth' etc have been great songs, that have carried powerful messages, which moves one not just by their sheer melody but also as a socially conscious individual.
