In a birthing pool outside!
My older was born in a free standing birthing center. It was a great experence there even if the birth didnt go as planned. Im expecing in june and i plan to eather have a homebirth or a water birth in the midwifery. They have their own birthing rooms. I really want a water birth this time. I have heard nothing but good things about them!

I'm not a fan of water! I panic I'll drown! Silly I know!
I wish you all the best for your new baby and hope everything goes to plan.

I think planned a home birth is wonderful. I had gas and air. The midwife was lovely and was there within minutes of phoning her. It was just so much more natural and relaxed. No one is a hurry and the midwife stays with you throughout the whole thing... not like at hospital were most times the midwife will go off shift and a new one appear! Also the midwife is more relaxed as she only has you to look after rather than a couple of different women to run between.

In an ideal world I would give birth at the hospital.
I am sure that I wouldn't want to keep the house spotless waiting for the time to come. I would be nervous about the midwife seeing my home all messy, and the phone would probably keep ringing.
I enjoyed being away from home, sleeping on sheets that someone else had to wash, and having my meals brought to me.

Id want a C- section. my mom was unable to give birth to me natrual because i was breech, and my two sisters just wouldnt come out. I think I would be scared of passing out while trying to push...
