Do you ever feel cursed?

There's been many times in my life where I felt like I was jinxed, born under a bad sign, etc. I have come to the conclusion that I was brought up with too conscientious of a foundation, and that this foundation sometimes brings me my so called 'back luck'. It seems that the worlds societies nowadays are geared for the weak. Greed, worship of money, and over-consumerism to mention a few are at an all-time high. Make that dollar - Sell, sell, sell! It doesn't matter what it is you are selling or if anyone really needs it. And make sure to step on & over anyone who might get in your way. It doesn't matter anymore whether you are good or bad. It only matters if you are good enough to be considered into the ever-expanding group of weaklings known as the human race. This sounds kind of harsh but it sure seems like it's becoming increasingly more diffucult for the good guys to finish last. The weak are far too legion, and that legion is us.

I think we all have those times in our life. We all have times when everything is going wrong. It is at those times that I try to look for the good times and not dwell on the bad times. I think we have those times but how we handle them is what makes the difference in our personal lives.

How right you are. I am hoping to be passing through and out of one of those hellish phases where everything seems to be glitching. I try not to take it personal, but realize I am a person so imperfectly affected by bad, bad days. Thank you for making me feel less alone.
