Develop tact to handle people!

Well I do have the art to tackle people with tact. Well my boss is a complete dictator and she does not like a no for the answer and you have to meet her immediately if she has called for. Once I was busy with an important experiment at the time she called, so I just avoided going to her, but later when I met her then very cooly told her that madam I had come to visit but you looked so much engrossed in your work that I felt not like disturbing you.She was cool with that reason.
