what do you do with your old clothes?

some are selling them to the "ukay-ukay"(we called it here in our country, 2nd hand clothes that are'nt that look bad)but me, i donated them to all my countrymen who are most in need, especially to those who are victim of calamity, or sometimes, i just give them to some of my neighbors who are also in need..

if the clothes are still in good condition, i will give it away and donate them. if not i'll just throw it away or use it as rags too.

With kids clothes, we try to sell that at yardsales. Kids clothes go pretty good at yardsales. adults clothes and whatever is left from the kids clothes we take to the good will or salvation army. or i give the kids clothes to friends.

i usually give them to my unfortunate neighbors and not-so=fortunate relatives

My wife will tell you that I just keep them. lol I guess I am guilty of that. When I do get rid of stuff, I see if anyone in her family wants it. (Most of my family lives across the country.) If they don't, then I usually donate it to a charity, if it's still in good condition.

Every spring I clean out all the closets in my home and clothes thats still good but too small for me or my kids gets donated to Good Will, even household things like dishes, pots and pans, story books, toys etc..I donate it all...I do this every spring, I just like the fact that someone else can benefit from something I cannot use anymore.
