What was it that has stayed with you for all the years after you walked out of school for the last time? Or perhaps something special that college left you with? Often during the school years we wonder why they teach us what they do. I was in the first all male typing class in my school of 2000 students. In those days there were no personal computers. Typing was for girls who wanted to be secretaries. Not us guys! We thought it was pretty funny to be taking typing, but as we laughed, we learned. And I am sooooo glad I did. As soon as I bought my first computer, all my typing skills came back. Now, typing is the most important thing I learned in school.

I don't think i've got a single most important thing.I would have to say everything i learned at school is important cause at some point in my life i will use what learned all those years ago.

Yes we do use much of what we learned, but I am still not sure what to do with my knowledge of the Battle of Hasings in 1066? Maybe it will come up in a trivia game sometime and I will know the answer.

I don't know that I could limit it to one single thing. I guess I could say the ability to ask the right questions and find my own answers would be the single most important thing I learned.
