getting him help

My son, he is having so much trouble at school, and some here at home.At school, there are fights and mouthy things he does and gets detention for it.They are talking of sending him to a Alternative school for kids who cause trouble. His grade are bad this year.Everythign he is taught goes in one ear and out the other,one day he knows the next he don't.And at home he is fighting his sisters or picking and he ends up hurt,he screams at me,yells at me, and I try to send him to his room he yells no I am not going to my room.And he never takes the blame for anything he ever does wrong, it's always someone elses fault.At first of school year I believed him and I went to school four or five times to see wha twas wrong, the principal said he did start it, or he was in on it. Many wittnessed it.What would you do if you was in my shoes? My cousin said take him to the dr. get him on something to calm him like Concerta, and get him cousiling.But here lies a problem.He did go to his schools once and talked to her, he told her his step dad beats him! My husband would never hurt him. Or the girls.We ended up haveing social services here over it. I am afraid of what he may go and tell them.He has a problem of what is the truth and wha tis not, my husband never beat him, but he had spanked him for hitting him .And then grounded him from his playstation for screaming at me that he hated me.My other kids,My girls has no problems with my husband or me, yeah they think I can be unfair when I say no or I have to ground them for something, or when my husband grounds them but they never say or do anything to cause trouble.My oldest did go through a spell where she wanted me to leave my husband ,and go back to her daddy, but I sat and explained why I wouldn't be doing that. AQnd she understood. But my son don't ask me to do that or anything. So I don't know what his problem is or could be.Any ideas?
