LAN Games vs On-line Games

Do you like on-line games? Or would you prefer to have the Local Area Network Games? On-line games will let you meet players around the world howver you can't play it without internet. LAN games will allow you to play even without internet with your friends. Which do you like to paly, the LAN games or the on-line games? What game , then, you would like to play?

I love on-line games. There are plenty of sites and one of the best is www.lazylaces.com. From there you can pick up other sites from a box on the right-hand side.
I play on-line with a friend who lives 100+ miles away and we talk over Skype. Doing so we can help each other over clues and puzzles.
Don't know what LAN games are; can you explain please.
