I am rather new here and I am just wondering about all the stars that I see with numbers on them by peoples names? how do you get them, and what do they mean? Can you tell me more about this mylot and the ins and outs of it. I love discussion boards in general but I would like to know more about this one and the pay, stars, etc. I love it here too!

The stars are the mylot reputation. They tell you how the mylot community views you as a member. The stars appear after posting 100 responses to other members discussions, you will see that number in () beside your user name your currently at 75 so you have 25 more to go and you will receive your star.
The stars are different colors depending on the number inside. The numbers range from 1 through 10, 10 is the highest number you can get. This rating is derived from the rating buttons found at the bottom of each discussion and after each response. (SEE GUIDELINES to see how to properly use the rating system) It's also been said but no one knows for sure that best responses may add to the star rating. Again not sure.
The main thing to remember is to start quality discussions. Always reply to discussions with quality, for most purposes that would be minimum of 4 lines to every response. If you post with 1 liners you will most likely be marked with a negative as most of the community feels that it's not quality. Stay away from discussions that encourage 1 word responses as they most likely get deleted and then you see your earnings fall.
I hope this helps you to get started if you have further questions you can request me as a friend I will be happy to help. I will also check back here to see if any further questions have been asked.
Well come to mylot and I wish you much success here! :)
