How do you wipe your tears while in theatre?

When I get involved in the story of a movie and tears come in my eyes I feel awkward if lights are switched on, and I don't get time to wipe my tears. I feel shy for crying just for a story or movie script. It happens to me and I don't understand how to handle the situation. What about you? Do you cry just during a movie? Is it wrong or a foolishness on my behalf?

Hey.... Thats not wrong...everybody will have their own emotion and contrlo level...U will also laugh in the theatre by seeing a comedy scene..do u think its wrong..nothing like that.. i can say if u cry in the theatre its the success of the director..He is the creator who brought the scene lively..controlling the emotions will cause physically weak and some physical disorder. So when u feel crying or laughing do it ..not only in theatre ..anywhere.

Dont bother for others..Live for yourself....Nobody cant feel the pain u feel or the joy enjoyed by you....SO just ignore others...live in ur own way..thats my view...

It is not that easy but not that hard either. Just pretend some dirt got into your eyes and casually brush it off. You might have to do it a few times to get off the tears. When you are crying, try blinking furiously. It will help to remove some tears.

Immortal Beloved. It was one of the saddest stories ever told. You cry like tears are going out of style! The Notebook is another. King Kong: The fatal plunge. You know from the beginning that the behemoth is going down, and that the couple will be separated forever, but still you weep as it happens. It's like Titanic, only without the Celine Dion song.

oarnamav is crying - don't cry please
Well there is nothing to feel shy, we all are human beings and we all have soft heart. For women it is easy to cry because nobody will laugh as women are always crying if not in theatre then at home ........lol......women crying is common. But men pretend to be strong and don't want to show that they are crying, but the fact still remains that they have same soft heart like women. Yes it is a bit difficult for men to wipe their tears openly, so you must pretend that you are having cold and you are just wiping you nose.........lol and take a chance to wipe your tears. We all cry in movies, though we know it is just a movie still we are human beings and we have no control on our emotions. This is the difference between stone by side of road and human heart. Don't feel awkward and foolish, you are just a kind honest man. So be happy and just be what you are, don't try to change........have a nice day.

I don't remember crying while watching a movie ever since I was a kid. Maybe I am insensitive or I don't get into the story that much. If it happened to me , however, I wouldn't have much of a problem with it, probably there would be more people in the theater wiping their tears as well. Crying is a natural thing and if something moves me to the point of crying than I am not shy about it :)

no, if you got touched or hurt or the emotion of the actors just sink in on you like you feel that you a part of the movie, you will also feel the agony. It is just normal, but on behalf of wiping tears, i just wipe it with a handkerchief, i don't mind what other people will be saying if they noticed me doing that, i dont care.
