hey guys, have you heard about or see a supercomputer before. incase you dont know, it is a computer with high processing speed used mainly in complex scientific calculations. it speed is sometime 64,000 time that of a PC. that why emeagwali used it to develop a program that makes computer perform 3.1 billion calculations per second. some supercomputers are made by connecting thousand of microprocessor together. for instance, if the supercomputer is made by connecting 64,000 micorporcessors, it will perform operation 64,000 faster than a PC, which uses single microprocessor
