I cannot believe that I even got out of bed this week. Yesterday I had a nasty spill at the playground with my daughter, and guess what I did today??? I store my mops and brooms beside the refridgerator. Well, somehow the broom got knocked over, so I bend over to pick up broom and when I put it back, the mop fell, I started to bend over to pick the mop up but when I come down, the broom was falling again and I came down on top of the broom and nailed myself right in the fricken EYE!!!! I mean I really hurt my eye! I'm going to have a HUGE black eye tomorrow and I really think that I've messed something up in there. When I did it, it felt like I pushed my eye too far back in my head. I'm probably going to have to go to the doctor over this one (while I'm there, I'll get the rest of my injuries checked out too). I just can't believe that all this has happened in 2 days. I look like I've been in an all out BRAWL. How can one person have such bad luck? lol I'm going to bed when hubby gets home, he can spend the evening with the kids. I'm so sore and beat up...I need to wrap myself in bubble wrap and go to bed!!! Sorry for the rant....I needed to get it out ;-) Have you ever had a STREAK of injuries? What happened?

actually, if you check my questions area, you'll find one about being accident prone... yup that's me. Once in one week I slammed my thumb shut in my trunk and could not get it open, fell down the stairs at work (in front of my boss)and tripped while walking my dog and sprained my ankle. You name it, if it can happen, it'll happen to me !! So believe me when I say I feel your pain :) Sorry it's happening to you though.

Well, TAKE IT BACK!!! At this rate, I'll be in a coma by Wednesday, lol. I can't believe I did that to my eye. It's black and blue and swelling shut. It sucks, but you already know that, I seen your pic. I am so glad you are doing better. But, please hurry up and take your 'curse' back, lol ;-)

That was terrible to have a bad luck in hte whole week. I never had experienced of consecutive bad luck that last for a week. Well there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe you can change your situation for the next week or two. Every bad things that comes must have a good reason behind it. Just don't forget to call on your 'Father' above.

Yeah. One day I think I must have banged my head at least a dozen times in one day. My head had so many bumps on it it was riddiculas. I think everyone has a bad clutz spell at some point in time. My husband has one and he doesn't injure himself. He tends to just break every dish in my house.

OMG, you have had it. When you go to the Dr. they are probably going to ask you if you are being abused.lol I guess you could answer only by myself. It sounds so bad, crawl into bed and stay there. Hopefully that will be safe for you.

Oh myyyy. I hate days like that. They seem to happen at the worse times too. Last time I did the laundry I hit my head on the change recver, burned myself from metal buttons and then got lent all in my eyes and nose. Then I slipped....slipped on the floor in my house slippers that have rubber?? When I bring up the laundry I get stuck on the elevator and can't get the cart out and so I bang my elbow, then I hit my head at the same time. Getting in the door; this should not be hard, but it was. I could not get past the door jam and the rugs ALL buchned up so I just kinds tripped over my self and then into the cart. My husband comes in and starts a fight and steps on my foot!, while looking for something in the laundry. My son is crying for food and I have to go and finish the dinner since my husband did not bother. A cup fell on my foot, the dishwasher did not stay up so when it went down I hit my leg several times. the list goes on.

Aww I'm sorry! I hope something super good happens to you tomorrow to make up for two crappy days! But you should definitely see the doctor about your eye; before something serious happens. Anyways, I don't think I've ever really had a streak of injuries...so I don't know how you feel. But I can definitely sympathize for you. Good luck and have a better week!

I feel for you Stephanie, you're going through a real rough patch. I read your post about your playground experience yesterday, but couldn't find any words to consol you. However, again today? That's just too much. The bad spell will end, and if I were you, I'd buy a lottery ticket, you never know!

I'm a clutz myself. One time, I was leaving work, and I fell on steel steps. I was wearing a dress at the time, and my dress went over my head. When I composed myself, I stood up to see 10 people in their cars waiting to pick up co-workers. I was hurting bad, but I composed myself enough to get to my car. The next morning, while I was walking into work in our parking lot, I fell again!! I felt like I had been run over by a truck!! I can relate to your story completely!! :)
