Black Sheep

I am very much the black sheep of my family, though my brother will swear up and down it's him. I have had a lot of life experiences that have really turned my mom against me. My dad has always been on the outskirts of my life, even when I lived with him. My mom doesn't like my personality, or my life choices, or pretty much everthing about me. That really bothers me, but it is also something that I have learned to accept and take with a grain of salt. And I've known for as long as I can remember. My mom set me aside as "the one who can care for herself" and that is exactly what she expected me to do, though she hardly ever approved with how I decided to care for myself.
