I was just reading a discussion about movies and i remembered about probably the greatest movie i have ever seen: "The Thorn Birds". Have you seen it?
If you have, what do you think? Was Ralph's final decision right? What would you choose if you were in his place?
Howe would you rate this movie?

i wasn't able to watch the movie, but i've read the book a long, long time ago. i liked that part where there are gates in an estate wherein you have to get out of the car to open it so you can pass through and then go out again to close the gate. and so on and so forth until you get to the last gate. but i cried when justin drowned.

I watched it once. I thought it was a pile of sentimental crap. Just another of those "Ooh, it's Richard Chamberlain. Isn't he dreamy?" pieces that so many women love to swoon over. It was about as interesting as one of those trashy romance novels.

I never watched the movie version of the book, but I did read the novel. It was amazing. Ralph made the decision that I think was right for him at the time, albeit out of guilt mostly. I think his heart was in another place. I personally would rate the book a 10 on a scale of 1-10. I couldn't put it down. If you get a chance...read it.

Drama complex life. With dreams unrealized, the unfulfilled, renunciation, love fulfilled but with compromises in love with running, resentment, lies, pain and joy counted like petals of a flower ... and finally regret that you have chosen or not "train" according to .
I find the performances very authentic, almost to identify with the heroes of the novel and wrong which will be found to replace the others with the same success.
Ward Rachl actress in any other film I saw, I could not imagine me than on Meg ...
