Clive Owen Should Be James Bond!!

Daniel Craig had my support from the very begining when he was announced as the sixth man to become 007. And he did an amazing job in Casino Royal. Too bad he had to cut his hair short to avoid dying it for the role.
After seeing Clive Owen perform in "Inside Man" and he was the UK's & the US' #1 fav to be James Bond. I thought he would have been perfect! I really didn't like the fact that the current actor will appear with that rough, tough look and that dreadful spiky hair cut through out his 6 year (two movies more) as the British super spy.
Clive Owen turned down the role in fav of "Inside Man". Is this guy stupid or is he stupid?!!
Daniel Craig is Good and amazing, but Clive would have been perfect! Arrrgh
Anyway, who would you perfer to play Bond?

I've never seen Daniel Craig in anything. So for me it's like they gave the role to a stranger. And not knowing Daniel Craig and not really being into his look, I haven't seen Casino Royal yet. He just doesn't grab my attention.
Clive Owen is a stunning man, not one bad movie he's made, as far as I've seen but I haven't seen the 'Inside Man' He would have made a fine Bond, but Bond is kinda boring as a character. I'd rather see Clive Owen in something new and unpredictable.
Oh btw I wouldn't toss him out of bed for eating cookies either.

Sean Connery was a total stranger when they gave him the role of the British super spy. So is Daniel Craig and people trashed him for it. Yet they all changed their minds after his first outing. All I can say is that you must give Daniel Craig the chance and I think you will change your mind as those other millions of people have.
Clive Owen however isn't as fit as Daniel Craig is and wouldn't have performed the demanding action sequences as good as Daniel. Clive is over 40 and not built as well as Dan. Yet, I am just in regret he turned down the role as he would have been the perfect choice out of all of those 200 actors they screened for Bond.
Daniel Craig is a very hard pill to swallow compared to Clive. But you will swallow him in the end and I am not talking cookies! :P

It's not that I haven't seen Casino Royal because Daniel Craig is Bond....
I didn't see it at the theater because here it would be dubbed into German and I hate dubbed movies, I want the original English version. The very crappy video rental place in out cow town, specializes in crappy asian action movies and horror, I don't think I've seen Casino Royal in the cue. And should there be something I actually want to see then I'm going to rent that first. Bond is always one of those movies I rent when nothing else is available. I liked Pierce Brosnan. I did see all of his Bond movies, but Bond is so predictable that it's just not on top of my must see list.
If Clive Owen was in it..... that be a different story.

So sorry you have to go through so much trouble. I would really love for you to see CASINO ROYALE. Not because I am Bond fan, but because it's really good and this one's really out the "predictable" time and space. I just hope you get to see it someday.
Pierce really did good on his FIRST outing as 007, but he lost the spark as he gotten so cocky about it. His ego as well as his age, grew so much out of the role and therefore, he didn't give anything new to the Bond formula. But his name will always be a part of the 007 history :)
Clive Owen would have been something similar to the rest of the rest, but would have been perfect.
