im really not sure as to the proper rules on mylot- but i know that you cant repeat a discussion previously opened. But sometimes we really dont know if that discussion has been talked about in the past unless we search for that topic! considering this- have you rushed into replying to some topics, just to find out that there were already previous topics exactly just like what you've answered but were already started MONTHS ago?!! How do you feel after doing a quality response only to find out that, the discussion you responded to- might get deleted with your responses in it, and your earnings may be deducted as well because it was a repeated topic?

I think with the mylot population you are always gonna get duplicate conversations - but in my case the only ones I have come across are from way before I joined and it is good to get a chance to be involved! If these were then deleted it would be a shame cos there are probably many people who missed out first time around!

Well, a good question and I do agree but if you just see similar discussions like yours and the replies from others, what do you guess? Then I think no body should respond to yours but after a while you will see that there are lot replies to yours one too! We can not do that even if we want to do so. Best of Luck and keep posting. As far as earnings are concerned, I have never checked, frankly!

Mylot had suggested to use search feature
before starting a new discussion . We should
imagine the possible tag words for the
proposed discussion and search for the
availability .
And discussions often repeat . And every
repeated discussion is not deleted . The
discussion should have well described own
views . Then it will be unique even if the
title is similar to other discussions .
And "yes / no" type topics should be
avoided . single liners topics cannot
be considered as a good discussion .
for e.g.
do you like tea or coffee ...
do you take hot drinks ...
what do you think about Mylot ...
who will be winner of worldcup cricket ...
