actually, it is. i know some people (specially women) who can. in fact, i have a lady friend (not close though), she can't even remember her 1st love's name, and the guy is my friend. hahaha..

in my case, i can forget but i won't. i just don't want to. in fact, we still go out at times even if we have our own families now. we're very good friends and my wife knows her. c",)

Love your style - 'My wife knows her','we're friends' - this means you really trust her and she don't mind the other woman (your first love),which is great!

..actually, its the other way around. i introduced her to my wife so that she won't feel jealous and to let her feel that theres nothing more going in between me and my ex. i want my wife to trust us. thats why as much as possible, i prefer group dates if its my ex i'm going out with. c",)

I can't forget my first love... My first love remained in my heart forever but it doesn't mean that I still love the person... It's the experienced feeling that I can't really forget... And it's good to think of how my first love was then...

well if it is REAL love, no one can forget it. if there are people who can forget it or let it go, then it wasn't real, their feelings weren't strong enough to callit love.
after all, if you really love a person and that person loves you back then i don't see why you have to let you go and then forget it... people who really love eachother remain together..(except for the cases when it doesn't depend on them).

Well I guess you're right. If they can forget it this means that they can delete their feelings. But as we all know feelings can't be deleted just like that unless they don't exist!

i think i cant.of course i dont feel love for him anymore for i was able to move on since it has been 7 years already but he got a special place in my heart which i'll always treasure.i believe it is almost impossible to forget your first love.its the first time you felt the feeling and i think first love are always special.

I share the same opinion that people can't forget this. I tried too, although that it wasn't bad, but I didn't wish to remember it, because I didn't like the boy that much...Whatever.

I have not forgotten my first love and probably will never forget her but I have to move on and find someone else to love and be loved back. She is married and with a child so there is no chance of me and her getting back together. I think it is possible for people to forget about their first love, especially if they found someone new to love and be with.

It's difficult to respond. I think it depends on people, there are people that can and others not.
I belong to the second category, I can't forget my first love. It was beautiful and, even if it was some years ago, I sometimes rethink on it.
I definitely can't forget.

I haven't forgotten mine but I don't think I'll still be in love with her after all those years of not seeing each other. I'm happily living my life with my girlfriend for almost 7 years already.

i already forgotten my first love since i'm facing more difficult problem... my boyfriend has leukemia and i'm worried bout him.. his family dont want me to see him..dont know why.. he's currently in his treatment... for now i'm just only thinking is my boyfriend not my first love or EX....

I'm sorry to hear this. I appreciate your response and I guess you're the only one who had said that it is possible. There was a time when I thought this can't be possible. But you're right - such problems can delete this memory.

hell it is not easy to 4get a first lover cos i have a lover which i really love and care abt but i dnt dnt know wat just happen she said that it all over becos one day i refuse to give her the money she requested for so we sperated from each other now she have a lover and i have a new lover but i find it difficult to 4get abt her and she too alway remenber me and give a call saying she still love ma that will should come back together was we her before. and i dnt still know wat to do now iw as thinkin if i should leave her or not but i stiill lover and i will go back to her cos i lover but i dnt know how the girl i am having will fill if i leave her

Depends if it was your meant to be soul mate. my first love was so intense that when we broke up I was a wreck for over a year. when we got back together nothing could seperate us. after 5 years we got married. if its meant to be then you will never forget.

Wow, your story is really amazing. I knew a couple that were together from the 8th grade and they never broke up, they got married. When first love ends with a marriage it can't be forgotten. I congratulate you too.

Hmmm.. that depends on whether their subsequent relationship is better than the first love or not and oso depend whether their first love how bad is it.. for me my first love is good and its hard to forget.. 22nd march is a date which me and my first love get together..

It depends on the Nature of the people,so its vary person to person.if i have to say about me, i cant ever forget my first love,because i am bit sensitive by my heart. but some person are having strong heart and feelings,so they do forget and get involve in new relationships.
